Reels carried the volume, TikTok carried the peaks

Instagram Reels took 142 of the 153 submissions and 8.39M views, about 65% of the total. That works out to about 59,000 views per Reel.

TikTok took only 11 submissions but 4.51M views, about 410,000 per post. Three TikTok clips posted on August 4 reached 1.94M, 1.63M and 731K views, together about 95% of everything TikTok delivered.

Four clips made up 40% of the views

The top four clips added up to about 5.2M views, or 40.4% of the campaign. Three were TikToks from August 4, two days after launch. The fourth was a Reel posted the next day with 910K views.

That Reel also drew 18K likes, a like rate of about 2%. The three TikTok leaders sat near 0.3% to 0.5%.

What a release-week campaign looks like

Launching two days after release meant clippers were posting while the song was new. Our read: the early TikTok peaks suggest a release-week window rewards speed, so brief clippers before the date and not after it.

The other 60% of views came from the remaining 149 submissions, which shows how much of the total came from steady posting.

Why it works

  • Creator-led distribution opens multiple algorithm pathways at once.
  • Creator distribution gives approved source material more creative interpretations and audience entry points than single-account posting.
  • Weekly scale decisions turn campaign data into repeatable growth.
