Instagram Reels delivered 95% of the views

Reels took 75 submissions and 6.16M views, about 82,000 each. YouTube Shorts took 61 submissions and 251K views, about 4,100 each. TikTok took 12 submissions and 63.2K views.

Clippers posted nearly as many Shorts as Reels, yet Reels drew about 24 times the views.

Four Reels from July 1 led the campaign

The top four clips were all Instagram Reels posted on July 1, two days after launch. They reached 480K, 366K, 304K and 277K views, about 1.43M together or 22% of the campaign.

Likes on those Reels ran from 546 to 932, so like rates sat between about 0.12% and 0.34%.

Using a sports livestream as raw material

A livestream gives clippers hours of unscripted footage and no pre-cut highlights. The 148 submissions here show that a brief with one sentence of direction can still produce a steady flow of posts.

Our sports clipping campaigns page covers how we brief athletes and leagues. See pricing for typical delivery, or book a call.

Why it works

  • Creator-led distribution opens multiple algorithm pathways at once.
  • Creator distribution gives approved source material more creative interpretations and audience entry points than single-account posting.
  • Weekly scale decisions turn campaign data into repeatable growth.
